Donating to the Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund
At this time there are several methods that can be used to donate to the Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund:
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund Checkoff Each individual taxpayer required to file a State of Illinois income tax return may contribute to the Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund by stating the amount of such contribution (not less than $1) on the return under section 10 Donations. The amount of the donation will be deducted from the tax refund (if the taxpayer is due a refund) or will be added to the amount of tax owed. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Mail a direct donation Persons wishing to contribute directly to the Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund may do so by mailing their donation to: Wildlife Preservation Fund, Division of Natural Heritage, Department of Natural Resources, One Natural Resources Way, Springfield, IL 62702-1271. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Estate gifts By designating the Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund as a beneficiary when doing your estate planning, you could create a lasting memorial. Your gift will be used to preserve, protect, perpetuate, and enhance non-game wildlife in Illinois.
