
J. Christopher Stucki, Office Director
The
responsibility of the Office Director's office is to manage and coordinate
the Department's capital budget. The office is responsible for generating
the annual Capital Budget Submittal, and acting as the Department's
liaison to the Capital
Development Board and the Office of Management and Budget on capital matters. Additionally, the office administers
and manages the Office of Architecture, Engineering and Grants day-to-day operations.
Functions
- Manage
and coordinate the execution of permanent improvements and related
projects for the enhancement of recreation, research and the environment
through the DNR's Capital Program.
- Manage
and coordinate the execution of state and federal recreation grants
to local governments through the Capital Program.
- Direct
and coordinate the preparation of projects for potential Capital
Program funding.
- Negotiate
with the Capital Development Board and Bureau of the Budget to secure
annual Capital Project funding.
- Prepare
the Capital Budget section of the DNR's annual budget submittal
to the legislature.
