Be a U.S. Citizen

Document 2 Years Practical Shaft & Slope Sinking Experience
(Document One Year Exp. with Mining Engineering Degree)

Be of Good Repute and Temperate Habits

Document First Aid & Mine Rescue Training
- Pass Examination

- 5000-23 or Equivalent Verification
of 1st Aid & Mine Res.
- Letter of Experience From Present
or Past Employers
- Shaft & Slope Workers Papers
Temporary Available if:
- Application Completed
- 2 Years Experience Documented
- State Mine Inspector Approves Application
- Pass Temporary Examination
- Temporary Valid Until Next Available Exam
