Hoisting Engineer Experience and Documentation

Candidates for Hoisting Engineer Must:
  • Be 21 Years Old
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • Have Two Years Hoisting Experience or 30 Hours of Log Time
  • Attend Hoisting Classes (Mandatory)
  • Be of Good Repute and Temperate Habits
  • Pass Examination
Documents Needed:
  • Application
  • Documentation or Verification of Hoisting Experience
  • Completed Log Sheet (Signed by Valid Engineer)
No Temporary Available Course Materials:
  • Hoisting Engineer Training Manual
  • Classes Available (Mandatory)
  • Coal Mining Act
  • Note: It is up to Each Applicant to Make
    Arrangements with a Hoisting Engineer and Mine Operator To Complete the Log Sheet
