Pursuant to 62 Ill. Adm. Code 1773.14 promulgated under the Surface Coal Mining Land Conservation and Reclamation Act, the Department of Natural Resources, Office of Mines and Minerals, Land Reclamation Division hereby gives notice that a public comment hearing will be conducted by the Department on Permit Application No. 419, Significant Revision Application No. 9 to Permit No. 56 and Significant Revision Application No. 1 to Permit No. 209 which were submitted by Macoupin Energy, LLC for the Shay Mine. The public hearing is scheduled for 6:00 PM on September 28, 2011 at the Glades Restaurant 18838 Route No. 4 South, Carlinville Illinois 62626.
