Dresden Access

The Dresden Access is located between Channahon and Morris approximately 2 miles south of Route 6 on McClindon Rd. The Access area is on the left just over the Illinois & Michigan Canal. This access area provides parking for approximately 8 vehicles. No toliet or drinking water facilities are available at this site.

Dresden Island Lock & Dam

Dresden - Collins Rd, Morris

Located southeast of Morris, Illinois on the Dresden-Collins Rd. From I-80, take the Morris Exit (Route 47) south through Morris across the Illinois River to Pine Bluff Rd. Turn left on Pine Bluff Road and proceed seven miles to a stop sign. Turn left at the stop sign on Dresden-collins Road, and continue 3 miles to the sign at the lock access road. This facility offers an observation deck, picnic tables, rest rooms and drinking water.
