What
to Bring Checklist:
The following is a list of a few items you may need for your Becoming
and Outdoors-Woman™ weekend at Lorado Taft. You should prepare for warm days, chilly evenings and possible rain. Bring person items, bug repellant, lotions, bedding and blankets:
- jeans
and shorts (dress in layers and be prepared for warm, cold or rainy
weather.)
- short
and long sleeved shirts,
- shoes
and boots (bring an extra pair of shoes)
- river
or water shoes (canoeing), swimsuit and towel (scuba)
- rain gear,
hooded water repellent jacket
- hat or
head cover
- WATER BOTTLE AND COFFEE MUG (help recycle!)
- pillow,
sleeping bag, blankets
- shower
supplies; soap, shampoo, flip-flops, towel and washcloth
- feminine
needs/toiletries/mirror/medications
- ear plugs/sleeping mask for sleeping with a room full of other people!
- suntan
lotion/sunglasses/eye shade
- bug repellent - A MUST!
- notebook/pen
or pencil
- binoculars,
camera & film (optional if not needed for classes)
- personal
cooler (bring your own beverages and snacks for evening socializing)
- portable
campstool or lawn chair (optional)
- money
for raffle and sale of BOW merchandise - all proceeds go back into the BOW program for scholarships and to ensure the future of the program.
