
It is a repository of monies donated for the benefit of wildlife that may not be hunted legally in the state, especially those species whose existence may be threatened or endangered.
As a result, 510 species of Illinois plants and animals are endangered. You
can donate on your Illinois 1040 Income Tax return using: Line 26a, Form IL - or
- Line 10, Telefile. You can contribute any amount over $1.00 on your tax return
to help wildlife. Your contribution will decrease your refund or increase your
balance due. Your refund will not be delayed. Be sure to place the dollar amount
of your contribution on Line 26a on the IL-1040.
After tax season, you can make a tax deductible donation to save Illinois
Wildlife Preservation Fund.
