Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund

What is the "Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund"?

It is a repository of monies donated for the benefit of wildlife that may not be hunted legally in the state, especially those species whose existence may be threatened or endangered.

Your donation supports the survival of Illinois' wild treasures. To assure they will be here tomorrow, give your tax deductible donations today!

We've lost:

95% of our wetlands 70% of our forests 99% of our original prairies

As a result, 510 species of Illinois plants and animals are endangered. You can donate on your Illinois 1040 Income Tax return using: Line 26a, Form IL - or - Line 10, Telefile. You can contribute any amount over $1.00 on your tax return to help wildlife. Your contribution will decrease your refund or increase your balance due. Your refund will not be delayed. Be sure to place the dollar amount of your contribution on Line 26a on the IL-1040.

After tax season, you can make a tax deductible donation to save Illinois Wildlife Preservation Fund.
