ADVOCACY - INTRODUCTION

Unquestionably, landowners have many opportunities to protect wetlands. Wetlands protection is not, however, solely the responsibility of landowners. Even if persons do not own land eligible for a wetlands program, there are steps they can take to help improve the status of the state's wetland resources.
