Eastman's Orchard-Eastman's Orchard is located approximately 3 miles north of Ferne Clyffe on Illinois Route 37. Eastman’s are open seasonally and offer fresh fruit; especially peaches and apples. They also sell apple cider, honey, apple butter and other tasty items. Many park visitors stop at Eastman’s on their way to and from Ferne Clyffe.
Goreville Food Market - Goreville Food Market is located in Goreville on Main Street approximately one half mile west of Illinois Route 37. They are a full line grocery, well known for their meat section. Many campers and picnickers use the store to stock up on food, ice, beverages and other supplies. The Goreville Food Market is a family owned business that has been open for over 25 years.
Dairy Barn - Treat yourself to ice cream at the Dairy Barn. The Dairy Barn is open all year. Turn west off Illinois 37 on Collins Street and go 1 ½ blocks to find the Dairy Barn.

OTHER PUBLIC RECREATION AREAS CLOSE BY
Ferne Clyffe is surrounded by many other public lands offering outdoor recreation opportunities. Other IDNR sites close by include Cache River State Natural Area, and Giant City State Park. Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge lies north of Ferne Clyffe approximately 10 miles and Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge lies to the south about 20 miles. The Shawnee National Forest has several public use areas close to Ferne Clyffe including a boat ramp and campground on the south side of Lake of Egypt and Dutchman Lake also open to fishing.

GOREVILLE CITY PARK
Goreville City Park is located on Main Street one quarter mile west of Illinois 37. The park is open to the public and offers basketball and tennis courts, a small picnic shelter and a ball field.
